The Prefabricated Quartet

Michael Sionas (bass, double bass, voices), Dimitris Tasoudis (drums), Theodore Papadimitriou (cello), and cmyk (electric guitar) composed, arranged and performed the music for some short films.

The films that carry the sounds of the Prefabricated Quartet are:

Tempest (2003), Protection (2005), Mines (2006), directed by Christos Nikoleris

The Cat (2005), Single String of Pearls (2006), directed by Vassilis D. Kehagias

In Music (2006), directed by Aris Kotronis

They formed the Prefabricated Quartet in order to perform and communicate their film music live and also to write songs based on it. The Prefabricated Quartet rehearses, composes and sometimes records its music in a prefabricated house in the woods.

Side the Sail

The Prefabricated Quartet’s album “Side the Sail” contains parts of the music that has been used in the soundtracks of some short films, and some songs inspired by the same musical components.

Side the Sail was released by RunDevilRun records in January 2007 in a handmade carton package.

ThePrefabricatedQuartet

Οι Μιχάλης Σιώνας (μπάσο,φωνή), Δημήτρης Τασούδης (τύμπανα), Θοδωρής Παπαδημητρίου (τσέλο) και cmyk (ηλ. κιθάρα), συνεργάζονται από το 2003 για τη σύνθεση, ενορχήστρωση και ερμηνεία της Μουσικής των soundtracks ταινιών μικρού μήκους.

Τα φιλμ στα οποία εμφανίστηκε ο ήχος τους, είναι: Τρικυμία (2003), Προστασία (2005), Νάρκες (2006) (σκηνοθεσία: Χρήστος Νικολέρης), Δε Κατ (2005), Μονή Σειρά Μαργαριτάρια (2006) (σκηνοθεσία: Βασίλης Κεχαγιάς), InMusic (2006) (σκηνοθεσία: Άρης Κοτρώνης).

Κίνητρό τους για να σχηματίσουν το the Prefabricated Quartet την προηγούμενη χρονιά, ήταν η ζωντανή ερμηνεία της κινηματογραφικής Μουσικής τους και η σύνθεση τραγουδιών, που αρμονικά στηρίζονται σ’ αυτή. Δοκιμάζουν και γράφουν τη Μουσική τους σ’ ένα λυώμενο σπίτι στη μέση του δάσους έξω από την πόλη.

Εμφανίστηκαν στο μπαρ Φλου τον Οκτώβριο του 2006 και άνοιξαν τη συναυλία των Cinematic Orchestra στο club Principal τον Νοέμβριο (20/11). Στις 12 Ιανουαρίου παρουσίασαν το δίσκο τους στο μπαρ SANTE στη Θεσσαλονίκη.

SidetheSail

Ο δίσκος του the Prefabricated Quartet, με τίτλο SidetheSail, περιέχει αποσπάσματα της Μουσικής που χρησιμοποιήθηκε στα sound-tracks ταινιών μικρού μήκους, καθώς και τραγούδια επηρεασμένα από αυτήν.

Κυκλοφορεί από τη Run Devil Run records σε μια χειροποίητη συσκευασία.

“Little people….big noise!!!” is a 2 disc compilation album with 24 bands and artists from around the globe, ranging from indie pop to garage punk and from experimental

Η συλλογή “Little people….big noise!!!” είναι ένα διπλό άλμπουμ με 24 μπάντες και καλλιτέχνες από την Ελλάδα και τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο.
