THIS GENTLE FLOW is a project by Valerios Calocerinos. (IKON, MERIDIAN, LEMON AVENUE, RECUR, THE UNSAID and more recently THE DEEP FIX.)

THIS GENTLE FLOW is of no particular genre with each piece being treated as it own entity. This is the inspiration of NO ART, The next THIS GENTLE FLOW release. NO ART will be available in March 09 in line with the relaunching of the iconic Australian Label LEFT AS IN SINISTER along with 5 other new releases from Australian artists.

Work has also started on THE BOOK OF VILAH. This takes This Gentle Flow in another direction being entirely acoustic and written for classical guitar. The official release will be a live performance recorded and filmed. A studio recording of one track is able to be heard on myspace.

Valerios also works as a producer from his studio in Sydney and has produced, engineered, and mixed numerous Australian bands.

DILEMMA :

DILEMMA is a band from Athens, Greece.The band formed at 16th of August 2002, by long time musical partners Sotiris and Poppy. The initial name of this band was 2Mautch.

DILEMMA is probably the first duet - band that appeared from the beginning in the alternative Greek musical scene without the obvious form of 2 guitars, bass and drums. They introduced the saxophone, the flute and all kinds of guitars, string arrangements, drums/percussion, laptop and original loops.

Their common themes are urban alienation, self-journey, love-and-loss, metaphysics, irrational violence of the modern world, dreams, nothingness and nature’s violation. But in a way that make sense.

DILEMMA avoids any musical or artistic cliques.

DILEMMA presents their own angle through their musical stories, their condensed musical fiction.
