November 2010 saw the release of The Dark, the highly anticipated 5th album by The Third Eye Foundation (aka Matt Elliott), which features contributions from Chris Cole (Manyfingers) and Louis Warynski (Chapelier Fou). The Third Eye Foundation is the alter ego of Matt Elliott, Bristol musician who began playing in cult bands like Flying Saucer Attack, until in 1996 he released his first album, Semtex, described as an extraordinary collision between My Bloody Valentine’s guitar violence and drum’n’bass. Chris Adams, together with his brother Richard, was half the creative core of Hood, an essential name to understand the history of the most audacious pop in the past ten years.
